4 injured in 4 separate shootings across Columbus

All four victims are expected to survive.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four people were injured in four separate shootings across Columbus Wednesday evening. Three of the shootings happened within an hour of each other.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the 3300 block of Broadmoor Avenue, off East Broad Street, for a reported shooting just after 7 p.m. A juvenile was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries. Detectives are investigating the incident as an accidental shooting.

Two more shootings happened before 8 p.m. Police said one person was shot during an argument in the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive. A few minutes later, another person was shot in the 1700 block of Sandalwood Place off Karl Road.

The fourth person was shot on the city's southwest side just before 10 p.m.

All four victims are expected to survive. 

The shootings on Wednesday follow another violent day in the city. Four people were injured in three separate shootings across the city on Tuesday.
