COLUMBUS, Ohio — The body of a 31-year-old woman was found behind a dumpster in east Columbus near Woodland Park Wednesday morning.
Columbus police confirmed the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
According to Columbus police, a caller reported finding the body shortly after 7:45 a.m.
Authorities responded to the scene and found Creeshawna Jordan. She was pronounced dead at 7:57 a.m.
Investigators are still attempting to identify the circumstances surrounding this incident.
This is the second homicide in the city of Columbus in 2022.
