OSHP: Man dead after being struck by vehicle in Perry County

The crash remains under investigation.

SOMERSET, Ohio — A 76-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Perry County Saturday evening, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP said Ralph Miller, of Carroll, was attempting to cross U.S. Route 22, located west of state Route 13 in Somerset, around 6:05 p.m. when a 2007 Lincoln MKX hit him.

The vehicle was traveling east on U.S. Route 22 at the time of the crash.

Miller was taken to Genesis Perry County Medical Center where he died of his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
