Mansfield police investigating shooting that left 25-year-old dead

The victim appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Department of Police is investigating a shooting early Saturday morning that left a 25-year-old dead.

Officers were called to a home in the 400 block of Spring Street around 1:50 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found a victim dead inside the home.

The victim appeared to have multiple gunshot wounds, according to police.

Detectives are working to figure out what led to the shooting. No suspect information has been released as of yet.
