COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection to a deadly shooting at an east Columbus bar last year.
The Columbus Division of Police said Kenyatta Glass has been charged in the case and a warrant is out for his arrest.
On Sept. 3, 2023, officers were called to the Lotus Lounge bar, located in the 6000 block of Channingway Boulevard, after 1:40 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds.
Shawn Grooms, 31, was pronounced dead at 1:50 a.m. by medics. Another victim was taken to a nearby hospital in what police described as "stable" condition.
Police said Glass should be considered armed and dangerous.
