Woman killed in Franklin County hit-and-run crash on Christmas Eve identified

The vehicle, reportedly described as gray with front-end damage to the passenger side and a busted headlight, left the scene.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio — The Franklin County Sheriff's Office identified the woman who was killed from being hit by a vehicle in Jackson Township on Christmas Eve. 

According to the sheriff's office, 21-year-old Angela Paetzke was walking east on Dyer Road, west of state route 104 when she was hit by a vehicle. 

The vehicle, reportedly described as gray with front-end damage to the passenger side and a busted headlight, drove away from the scene.

Paetzke was taken to Grant Medical Center where she died.
