Police: Juvenile shot during fight in parking lot of northeast Columbus shopping center

The Columbus Division of Police said the shooting happened in the 2600 block of Northland Plaza Drive, just south of East Dublin Granville Road.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A juvenile was shot during a fight in the parking lot of a northeast Columbus shopping center Friday afternoon.

The Columbus Division of Police said the shooting happened in the 2600 block of Northland Plaza Drive, just south of East Dublin Granville Road. Upon their arrival, officers found a scene but did not find a victim.

A short time later, officers were dispatched to a local hospital for a juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound.  

The victim self-transported to the hospital and is expected to survive their injuries.

Multiple people were detained for questioning.
