Columbus firefighters help deliver 9-pound baby on roadside

The boy’s family stopped by Station 27 to thank the crew members and re-introduce them to Julian.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus firefighters responding to a call for a woman in labor on the side of the road ended up helping deliver her 9-pound baby boy.  

The firefighters at Station 27 responded to the side of Route 315 North on Oct. 11 and successfully delivered Julian Juan Torres. 

The Columbus Division of Fire tweeted an update Wednesday, saying the boy’s family stopped by Station 27 to thank the crew members and re-introduce them to Julian.
