Deputies Search Property For Woman Missing Since 1999

DEVELOPING STORY: A Grove City woman (pictured) vanished more than nine years ago. Now investigators are searching a property in southwest Ohio for clues.

Authorities were searching a property in southwest Ohio on Wednesday for clues in the case of aGrove City woman who vanished more than nine years ago.

According to a press release issued by the Warren County Sheriff's Office, deputies and officersfrom the Grove City Police Department were conducting a search of property on Lake Road, located inthe City of Morrow.

Morrow is located about 30 miles northeast of Cincinnati.

The release said that investigators were searching for evidence in the disappearance of Tammi"T.J." Campbell.

Campbell, of Grove City, was reported missing by friends in June 1999.

At the time of her disappearance, Campbell, 33, was living with Gary Robinson in Grove City. Therelease said that Robinson was from Warren County and had relatives who lived on Lake Road.

On Wednesday, authorities confirmed that the area being searched belonged to Robinson'sparents.

Investigators did not specify what led them to the property, but they used heavy equipment,shovels and cadaver dogs during their investigation Wednesday, 10TV's Cara Connelly reported.

Robinson, 45, is currently serving time in prison for assaulting a family member.
Since Campbell's disappearance, Grove City police have searched at least one landfill incentral Ohio for evidence in the case.

Investigators said previously that they were treating the case as a homicide.

"We have family members and friends of this young lady that's been missing for nine years now,"said Grove City police Capt. Steven Robinette. "We just want to find out what happened here."
