COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 28-year-old man died after he was found shot in east Columbus overnight, police said.
Just after 1 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 3000 block of East Main Street after receiving a report of a vehicle into a building.
Arriving officers found Shandar Weaver suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries at 2:43 a.m.
Police did not provide additional details on what led to the shooting.
