34-year-old man arrested, charged with murder in North Linden shooting

Paul Anthony Banks, 34, was arrested on Friday, according to court documents.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection to a North Linden shooting last week.

Franklin County Municipal Court documents say officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Atwood Terrace for a reported shooting.

Arriving officers found two victims and both were taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Ronald Price, 60, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim was shot three times, but survived his injuries.

The surviving victim told detectives the nickname of the man who shot them, but didn't know his real name.

Court documents say detectives learned of a potential suspect and provided an array of photos. The victim immediately pointed out 34-year-old Paul Anthony Banks as the man who shot him and Price.

Banks will be arraigned in the Franklin County Municipal Court on Monday.
