The Black Keys announces 2 Ohio shows as part of new tour

The nationwide tour is in support of the band’s new album “Ohio Players,” which is set to be released Friday.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Black Keys announced a new nationwide tour on Monday in light of their new album releasing this week. One of the tour stops includes two performances in Ohio.

“The International Players Tour” kicks off on Sept. 17 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The tour also includes stops in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

The Black Keys will perform twice in its home state of Ohio. The band will be at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland on Oct. 12 and Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Oct. 24.

The Head and the Heart and Robert Finley will perform with The Black Keys at select shows.

The nationwide tour is in support of the band’s new album “Ohio Players,” which is set to be released Friday. Tickets for the tour will go on sale that day.
