Mount Vernon Nazarene volleyball coach found guilty on Gross Sexual Imposition charge

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The longtime women's volleyball head coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University was found guilty of Gross Sexual Imposition on Wednesday.

Paul Swanson was accused of exposing himself at a nursing home and forcing someone he knows to make sexual contact with him.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim was "impaired by physical or mental condition."

10TV has reached out about Swanson's employment at the school. At last check, Swanson was still on administrative leave at the university.

Sentencing for Swanson is scheduled for September 3 in Knox County.
