COLUMBUS, Ohio — 10TV is excited to welcome back Doppler 10 Chief Meteorologist Ashlee Baracy.
Ashlee returns from her maternity leave Tuesday evening.
She and baby Caylee joined Angela An on Wake Up CBUS last week. Ashlee said it's been magical watching her son Carter bond with his little sister.
"She recognizes his voice and he's always hugging and kissing on her, and she'll smile. It's just something really special as a mom to watch," Ashlee said.
During the interview, Angela also sought advice for other moms and dads who will soon return to work after the birth of a child.
"I think for any mom and dad you just need to realize you will get into a routine, and sometimes you will have time away from the kids," Ashlee said. "There is nothing wrong with that, and it makes that time you have together even that much more special because you will be more in the moment when you come back from work."
