Ohio State junior punter Drue Chrisman was named the Big Ten Conference’s special team’s player of the week following the Cincinnati game.
Against the Bearcats, Chrisman averaged 43 yards per punt off three kicks. He dropped two of his three kicks inside of the Cincinnati 5-yard line.
His unit also did not allow a punt return yard in the team’s 42-0 win.
Chrisman, a two-time Ray Guy Award semifinalist, has placed four of his seven punts inside the opponents 20-yard line.
Chrisman has passed Tom Tupa and Brent Bartholomew and into a tie for third in school history with Ben Buchanan with 58 punts downed inside the 20.
