A teenager was hospitalized after police say he was accidentally shot by another teen in southeast Columbus.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 1100 block of Smith Road around Noon Sunday.
Officers found a 15-year-old boy shot in the chest. He was transported to Grant Medical Center with non-life threatening wounds.
Police said it appears two teenagers were playing with a gun when it discharged, striking the victim.
Officers continue to investigate.
