Police: 2 Dead In Drug Overdoses In Delaware

Two people were found dead in Delaware, and police believe that they were both the result of drug overdoses.

Delaware police say two men found dead Tuesday morning likely died of drug overdoses.

Police told 10TV Shane Kraus, 30, was found dead around 1:14 a.m. in a vehicle parked outside of 52 Bernard Avenue.

Around 7:13 a.m., police say they found Virgil Mitchell III, 37, inside an apartment at 56 Bernard Avenue, just feet away from where Kraus' body was found.

Mitchell has been in the news before. He pleaded guilty for failing to control vicious dogs in 2010 when his Cane Corsos mauled a man.

Police said Kraus and Mitchell knew each other and their deaths are likely related.

The investigation is ongoing.
