MARYSVILLE, Ohio — A husband and wife are dead after an apparent murder-suicide Thursday afternoon in Leesburg Township, according to the Union County Sheriff's Office.

Officers were called to a home around 2:15 p.m. in the 12000 block of Kaiser Road on a report of two people found dead by a family member.

The sheriff's office said a man and a woman were found dead in a bedroom in the home with apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Forrest Jenkins, 79, and Darlene Jenkins, 76.
