MADISON COUNTY, Ohio – Troopers with Ohio State Highway Patrol confiscated about $40,000 worth of a variety of drugs in Madison County on Monday.
OSHP said troopers stopped an SUV with New Mexico license plates for speeding along I-70 near milepost 73 around 10:45 a.m.
While talking with the driver, 30-year-old Patrick Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico, troopers noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the SUV.
Troopers searched the vehicle and found three pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 144 doses of LSD, 450 doses of nitrous oxide, an ounce of cocaine and 70 grams of marijuana.
OSHP said those drugs are valued at approximately $40,000.
Miller is facing a felony charge of possession of drugs.
