Columbus Library cuts the ribbon on new Reynoldsburg branch

The building includes three meeting rooms, 15 study rooms and a drive-up window for customers to pick up reserves and drop off materials.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Hundreds gathered Wednesday for the official opening ceremony of the new Reynoldsburg Library branch.

The new branch at 1402 Brice Rd. was built in 1980 and was renovated and expanded in 1990 to 19,800 square feet. The building was later demolished in 2022 for the new two-level branch that is double in size.

Community leaders and library executives gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony along with around 2,000 other people who wanted to celebrate opening day.

The building includes three meeting rooms, 15 study rooms and a drive-up window for customers to pick up reserves and drop off materials.

The library asked those who wanted to be a part of the library and community’s history to sign a commemorative panel installed at the new branch.
