The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, or ICAC, confirmed a sex video is being shared on social media at multiple high schools across central Ohio.
Investigators said students at several schools have reported the video to their respective school resource officer.
ICAC is refuting rampant rumors that a female depicted in the video is an underage, Central Ohio High School student.
Investigators said, on the contrary, the person in the video appears to be an adult, and investigators said they don't believe the video was produced locally.
ICAC said it's already identified the Twitter account used to disseminate the video and said the investigation is continuing.
Investigators said any child in possession of the video should delete it immediately, and should not share it with others.
