COLUMBUS - One man has died after a reported shooting in east Columbus Tuesday night.
According to Columbus police, the shooting happened on E. 5th Avenue near North James Road just before 9 p.m.
Ulrich Smith, 42, was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition before he was pronounced dead.
Police said this is the 100th homicide of 2017.
