COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three men from Cleveland have been charged after police say they robbed a jewelry store near the Easton Town Center.

At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, police say that three suspects entered the Jared store on Morse Crossing wearing masks with at least two carrying hammers.

The suspects ordered all occupants inside to the ground before smashing glass counters with the hammers. Police said the suspects took a large amount of jewelry before fleeing the business.

Employees contacted police and provided a description of the vehicle along with a partial license plate number.

Police spotted the vehicle and caught up with the suspects on Woodland Ave. All three bailed from the vehicle but were caught hiding in a pop-up camper. It’s believed all of the stolen items were recovered.
