3 injured in separate overnight shootings in Columbus

Three people were injured in three separate shootings across Columbus Friday night into Saturday morning.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three people were injured in three separate shootings across Columbus Friday night into Saturday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

The first shooting occurred in the 100 block of North Monroe Avenue, just after 11 p.m. on Friday. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in what police describe as "stable" condition. It is unclear what led up to the shooting, and no suspect information was immediately available. 

The second occurred in the 1400 block of Kenmore Road, just after midnight Saturday. Police say the victim was arriving home and upon exiting a vehicle, was shot. Medics transported the victim to a nearby hospital in what police describe as "stable" condition.

Police were called to Grant Medical Center just after 1 a.m. Saturday on reports of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim remains in what officers describe as "stable" condition. It is unclear what led up to the shooting, and no suspect information was available.
