A man wanted in connection with a homicide in Pike County has been taken into custody.
Authorities were searching for 32-year-old Jon-Erik Burggraf who was wanted in the death of 39-year-old Charles Meadows Jr.
The victim’s body was found Monday afternoon on Johnson Hill Road. Investigators said he was shot.
A murder warrant was issued for Burggraf. He's also charged with possessing a weapon under disability.
The Ross County Sheriff's Office said they had received information that Burggraf was in the county.
Burggraff was taken into custody without incident Thursday morning.
He was transported to the Ross County Jail for processing
