Ohio State students spend spring break serving others

Thousands of college students are getting ready for spring break. Instead of heading to the beach, some students at The Ohio State University are heading south to volunteer.

It's almost time for spring break. While thousands of college students will soon head to the beach, some students from The Ohio State University will be heading south to volunteer.

The Buck-I-Serv program gives OSU students the opportunity to take part in "service learning trips" across the country, volunteering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and various veterans' groups.

Watch the video to learn more about Buck-I-Serv and meet some students who are preparing for an upcoming service trip to Punta Gorda, Florida. To find out how to enroll in the program, visit the official Buck-I-Serv website here.
