Motorcyclist seriously hurt in southeast Franklin County crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A motorcyclist was seriously hurt in a crash Tuesday afternoon in southeast Franklin County, according to the sheriff's office.

The two-vehicle crash happened at Noe-Bixby Road and Hatfield Drive in Madison Township around 3:20 p.m.

A Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Noe-Bixby Road attempting to turn left onto Hatfield Drive when it was hit by a Harley Davidson motorcycle heading northbound on Noe-Bixby.

The driver of the Toyota was uninjured in the crash and the motorcyclist was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, according to the sheriff’s office.

The crash remains under investigation. The road is expected to be closed for the next two hours.
