Miller Family Farms in Fairfield County ready to host Luke Bryan's Farm Tour stop

Luke Bryan is making six stops on his 2019 Farm Tour and one of them is in Fairfield County on Saturday.

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio — Luke Bryan is making six stops on his 2019 Farm Tour and one of them is in Fairfield County on Saturday.

"I expect there to be quite the crowd on the road," Jennifer Miller said.

Miller's property is where Saturday's concert is going to be. She says it was determined in April and officially announced to the public at the beginning of summer.

"I think there was three farms they were interested in and they came back to us," she said. "We didn't really expect it, but they came back and said they wanted to come here."

Miller says she understands the hype and she appreciates it. Luke Bryan is a country megastar and, come Saturday, she's going to have 20,000 people on her property.

But what she appreciates more is farming.

She says the industry has taken a hit, especially over the last year or so, and she knows Bryan is doing this tour to show appreciation to local farmers.

Miller says the field that is being used was harvested for straw in July.

Emily Burke and her family were one of many who are opting to camp out at the venue. Friday afternoon, they were setting up a tent in preparation for Saturday's concert.

"You have to have the whole experience," she said.

Miller says the concert officially sold out two days ago with an expected capacity of 20,000. She says the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office is sending manpower to help with the intersections and traffic flow from I-70.

Parking for the event is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Miller says the doors open at 5 p.m. and the concert begins at 6 p.m.
