ORIENT, Ohio — Some Pleasant Township firefighters were injured while putting out a house fire in the Orient area late Tuesday night.
The fire happened at a house on the 5300 block of Timberlake Circle just before midnight, according to the Pleasant Twp. Fire Department.
Authorities said the fire appeared to have started in the back room of the home. The fire grew into the attic but was eventually contained.
One person does live at the home, but left for work earlier that evening and was not home at the time of the fire, according to the fire department.
Investigators said there is extensive damage to the home and firefighters at the scene sustained minor injuries.
Investigators are still looking for a cause.
