A man is behind bars, accused of shooting and killing a man in a car near East Columbus.
Police arrested 20-year-old Brandon Knowles Monday night after a shooting at East Columbus St. and 17th St. around 2:15 p.m. Monday.
The victim has been identified as Walter Fly, 51. Police said Fly was in the car with his wife when they stopped to talk with the Knowles.

After speaking to Fly, Knowles then allegedly went into a house and returned with a gun and fired.
Witnesses said Fly drove a short distance down the road before hitting a fence. "It's just really sad to see that in person," one witness told 10TV. "The young lady was screaming, saying that, 'My husband has been shot - my husband has been shot.'"
Police showed up and found Fly dead inside the vehicle. Knowles has now been charged with his murder.
