COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 63-year-old woman is dead following a shooting in east Columbus Thursday night.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers received a ShotSpotter alert around 8:50 p.m. for a shooting in the 800 block of Berkeley Road, located in the Driving Park neighborhood.
A woman, Marvita McCaskill, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:08 p.m.
There is currently no suspect information. The shooting is under investigation.
