Brother Mourns Loss Of Sister In Columbus Quadruple Murder

Angela Harrison leaves behind five children.

Disbelief and despair from the family of a woman shot to death along with three others inside a Columbus home.

Angela Harrison was one of four people killed inside the East Hudson Street home this weekend.

Police have charged 16-year-old Jordyn D. Wade in the killings, and are still searching for a second, unidentified suspect.

Charles Harrison called his sister a survivor, a great sister and a great mother.

"She wasn't dealt the best cards in life. But she took what was given to her and she made the most out of it,” he said.

Charles shared a family photo taken last year for Mother’s Day because she was with the people who loved her most and are grieving her loss.

"I got a call from my younger brother,” Harrison said.  “He couldn't talk. He couldn't get the words out of his mouth. I proceeded to ask him what was wrong. He couldn't speak to me. So I finally got him to calm down and explain what was wrong. The only word he could say was ‘Angela.’  And the first thing that came to my head was I hope he's going to tell me she's in the hospital. He said, ‘No, Bro. Something more serious.’”

Second Suspect Wanted In Connection To Weekend Quadruple Homicide

Police said Harrison was one of four people shot to death inside the home at 1326 E. Hudson Street. They said it was drug related.

Charles said that's not his sister and not her circle.

While he struggles to accept that she's gone, he also struggles with the fact that police said one of the people responsible is just a teenager.

Incredibly, Charles didn’t express anger toward Wade, but concern.

"He's going to need a lot of blessings. He's going to need a lot of guidance; he's going to need a lot of love. He's going to need a lot of knowledge moving forward with this life,” he said. “Sixteen years old; how much do you know about the world? How much do you know about life? How much do you know about taking a life at 16?”

Angela Harrison leaves behind five children.

Wade pleaded not guilty in juvenile court Monday to the charges. Prosecutors are trying to move the case to adult court.

He's expected back in court July 17.
