For the Salvation Army, the holiday season is typically the time they receive the most financial support but the need lasts throughout the entire year.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following the 12-hour phone bank fundraising partnership between WBNS-10TV and the Salvation Army on Thursday, coordinators announced that $41,028 was raised.

However, the donation window isn't closed just yet. All donations made to SalvationArmyNeedKnowsNoSeason.org or by texting NEED to 31333 will be matched dollar for dollar through midnight on Oct. 20.

For the Salvation Army, the holiday season is typically the time they receive the most financial support but the need lasts throughout the entire year.
