Police release photos of suspects in assault, robbery at Tuttle Mall

COLUMBUS — Columbus Police are investigating an assault and robbery at Tuttle Mall Wednesday afternoon near Dublin.

Detectives say around 2 p.m. Wednesday, the victim was walking out of the main mall entrance and was approached by a male suspect who grabbed the victim's necklace from around his neck.

While the two tussled over the necklace outside the mall, a second male suspect started punching the victim in the face. The suspects took the victim's necklace and cell phone before leaving in a silver SUV, according to police.

Prior to the altercation, one of the suspects could be seen on camera with two females inside the mall before the robbery occurred.

Authorities say they are looking for two male black suspects in their 20s. The first suspect is described to be about 5’8"-5’11" tall, 150 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. The second suspect is 5’5" tall, 145 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt with a picture on it and black pants.
