COLUMBUS -- Columbus Police have arrested three men they believe were involved with the robbery of a Brinks armored truck in June.
According to police, Jesse McLaughlin, Frank Hundley and James Jenkins were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
The robbery happened around 10:30 a.m. June 16 outside a Chase Bank on S. Hamilton Road by Eastland Mall.
Police said the Brink's employee was servicing an ATM when a car pulled up with three people inside.
One man, sitting in the backseat, was holding a shotgun and pointed it at the Brinks employee.
Another man, police say, got out of the car and walked over to the ATM with a handgun and demanded the money, before the employee handed over an undisclosed amount.
Police said the employee was armed but the incident happened so fast they were unable to react. There were no injuries reported in the robbery.
