The National Weather Service has determined six tornadoes touched down in Ohio on Wednesday.

  • Tornado near Anderson Township OH (Hamilton County) (EF0)
  • Tornado near Leesburg OH (Highland County) (EF0)
  • Tornado near Greenfield OH (Highland County) (EF0)
  • Tornado near New Market OH (Highland County) (EF1)
  • Tornado in Pike County (Further details to be released Friday evening)

The NWS said on Thursday the storm in Leesburg was an EF0 tornado with an estimated maximum wind speed of 85 MPH.

The storm was 250 yards wide and the storm's path was seven miles long according to the NWS.

Damage was also reported from straight-line winds and flash flooding during Wednesday’s storms, which brought heavy rain and hail.

No one was injured in the storm.
