A teacher who was formerly employed by the South-Western City School District pleaded guilty to a child porn charge in Franklin County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.
Michael Walsh, a former teacher at Pleasant View Middle School, pleaded guilty to one count of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. Eight other charges were dropped.
A district spokesperson told 10TV that district officials were not aware of the investigation until Walsh’s arrest. He was immediately placed on administrative leave.
His sentencing is set for 9 a.m. on November 27.
