COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is offering free admission for military families during the first week of July.
"Military Family Free Dayz" is from July 1 to July 7.
The zoo said members of the military, both past and present, and their immediate family can get into the zoo for free and have the option of purchasing discounted admission to Zoombezi Bay.
In order to receive the special offer, the zoo said active-duty service members and veterans will need to present their military ID or other proof of service.
The zoo defines immediate family as a spouse/domestic partner and any children living in the household.
The discounted price to get into Zoombezi Bay will be $22.99 per person for the service member, as well as for their immediate family members.
Parking is $10 per vehicle.
