COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus Division of Police officer was arrested Saturday morning and is charged with domestic violence threats and aggravated menacing, 10TV's Lacey Crisp first learned and later confirmed in court documents.

According to an affidavit, an officer who has been with the department since 2022 reportedly made threats to a woman.

The woman told police that she was afraid the officer would act on threats that he allegedly made toward her and a man.

The woman then played a recording of a cellphone conversation where the officer was allegedly heard making threats. Officers at the scene, who both knew him, recognized his voice from the recording, according to the affidavit.
