Ashland bus driver charged with sexual imposition after incident involving minor

A man from Ashland has been arrested on charges of sexual imposition, assault and unlawful restraint after an incident involving a 14-year-old.

The Mansfield Police Department said 64-year-old Timothy Calame was taken into custody on May 18.

According to the Mansfield News Journal, Calame works as a bus driver with Crestview Local School District.

Citing the police report, the newspaper reported Calame allegedly smacked the victim in the chest, grabbed him by his shoulders and had contact with the victim that resulted in the sexual imposition charge.

The newspaper adds that Calame was arraigned on Monday with a cash bond set at $15,000.

Crestview Superintendent Randy Dunlap told the News Journal that Calame has been suspended.
