Preparing for spring: Spring cleaning your yard and home

COLUMBUS, Ohio- Tim Skaggs with Home Depot joins 10TV's Karina Nova and Ross Caruso to talk about getting your yard and home ready for the spring. Skaggs shared a few tips to get you started.

Refresh the lawn: Clear away winter's dirt and debris for a vibrant, thriving yard
• Clear out dead limbs from winter storms with the Husky 1-1/4 lb. Premium Camp Axe. It has a soft handle for a comfortable grip.
• Next, clear away the extra twigs and dead leaves with the new Ryobi One+ Lithium Ion Cordless Fan Blower. It's really lightweight so it's easy to operate and has twice the power of the other models.
• After that, get the lawn prepared for spring by using Roundup Weed and Grass Killer to get rid of pesky weeds and prep your lawn for spring. Use in and around tree rings, mulched beds and on driveways, walkways and patios.

Increase curb appeal: Get a sparkling clean exterior to make your house the best on the block
• Make sure to eliminate grime from all types of surfaces that may have collected dirt during the winter months. The Windex outdoor concentrated window cleaner features special sheeting action to allow windows to dry without wiping – just attach it to your hose. The Miracle-Gro heavy duty flat hose is very lightweight, compact and durable.
• Blast away dirt from your driveway, deck and other areas around the house with the Ryobi 2,000 PSI Electric pressure washer.
