Potholes are causing an assortment of problems throughout central Ohio, but the Ohio Department of Transportation says relief is on the way.

Larry Wiseman, owner of Big “L” towing says he’s responded to accidents non-stop for the last three weeks.

“As soon as I get through with one, there are four more lined up to get done,” Wiseman said.

Friday, ODOT crews began pothole repair on the city’s south side. The pothole patrol focused on I-71 south between I-270 and Stringtown Road.

Overnight Friday to Saturday, crews will tackle several other stretches of road, including westbound I-70.

“With the temperatures staying going the way they are it’s not going to slow down at all,” Wiseman said.
