OSU issues safety alert after employee robbed at gunpoint


COLUMBUS -- The Ohio State University issued a neighborhood safety alert after a parking employee was reportedly robbed at gunpoint outside the Fawcett Center.

It happened around 12 p.m. Saturday at the 2400 block of Olentangy River Road.

The suspects fled on Olentangy River Road away from campus in a vehicle.

The driver is described as a light-skinned black male with freckles wearing a gray hoodie.

The passenger of the vehicle had a handgun and is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie.

Both suspects had their hoods up with the drawstrings clinched tight.

No injuries were reported from this incident.
