Women Leading the Way: CoolTechGirls

Local businesswoman Purba Majumder founded CoolTechGirls as a way to get high school-aged girls interested in technology and computer science. She runs a tech consulting company and says that, in the course of doing IT consulting, she "realized how few women would come for job opportunities when compared to men." Recently, CoolTechGirls teamed up with young women from The Ohio State University's Association of Computer Machinery to share their experiences competing in "hackathon" events, and to show CooltechGirls participants what sort of degrees and careers they can pursue in technology.
