Whitehall police searching for suspect in 2 robberies taking place within 2-hour span

WHITEHALL, Ohio — Whitehall police are investigating two robberies that took place within a two-hour time span Friday morning.

Police say at approximately 5:22 a.m. a male suspect entered the UDF in the 4800 block of E. Main Street and demanded money. He then left with an undetermined amount of cash.

At approximately 7:17 a.m., police say the same suspect entered the Taco Bell located in the 3900 block of E. Broad Street, He showed a note to the cashier demanding money and left the area without receiving any.

Police described the suspect as a white male, about 5'7" tall and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green shorts, white socks, black shoes and a green toboggan-style hat. The suspect also has glasses and a mustache. He was seen leaving the scene in a silver sedan.
