Whitehall police find cash, pills, guns, $250K worth of meth in home

More than a quarter of a million dollars in methamphetamine were seized by Whitehall police executing a search warrant on Thursday.

Whitehall police said they served the search warrant at a home in the 900 block of South Weyant Avenue as part of an investigation into methamphetamine being brought into the city.

Police said they found more than five pounds of methamphetamine which has a street value of more than $250,000.

Police also found 250 grams of marijuana, 90 Xanax pills, three loaded pistols, body armor and more than $15,000 in cash.

The two people who were the focus of the investigation were not home and warrants will be issued for their arrest on a felony charge of trafficking in drugs, according to police.
