COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies in Florida were baffled after they set up a speeding stakeout but only caught one person. Then they found out why.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, they were conducting a speed enforcement operation last week when they had only identified one driver who was traveling over the speed limit.

As they left the area, deputies spotted a sign roughly a quarter of a mile ahead of the site which said: “POLICE AHEAD.”

The sheriff’s office took a photo of the sign and posted it to Facebook saying: “Well played, Anonymous Sign Artist. Well played.”
