Weather Geek Report: Tracking snow moving into Ohio

A mix of light rain and snow will move into central Ohio later Thursday evening with all snow expected after midnight.

The snow will move east of the region by Friday morning with snow accumulations up to an inch possible, mainly in grassy areas.

Watch the roads in the morning because icy spots may develop with the temperature dropping just below freezing to near 30 degrees.

The much colder weather is forecast for the weekend with highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s.

More snow is possible early next week as a storm system moves into the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes Monday into Tuesday.
