Doppler 10 Forecast: Wintry mix could snarl morning rush


A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is likely across Central Ohio this morning. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for areas north Columbus until noon on Tuesday.

Today: Light freezing rain early. Light glaze possible, especially along bridges & overpasses in the AM commute. Turning to all rain through the day. Windy & warmer. High 45. South winds 15-25 gusting to 35 mph.

Tonight: Showers early then cloudy, breezy. Low 39. SW winds 10-20 mph.

Tomorrow: A few showers early then another round late. Mild & a little breezy. High 53. South winds 8-12 mph.

Thursday: Another round of rain. Warm & windy. High 60. SW winds 12-18 mph.


Special Information: Expect some messy conditions on the roads this morning. Winter Weather Advisories and Freezing Rain Advisories are in Central Ohio and areas north & east. This will transition over to all rain as we head through the morning with showers this afternoon. It’ll be windy and warmer but still a raw day. Rain early on Wednesday then another batch late with highs in the low 50s. We’ll climb to near 60 on Thursday but more rain is expected with windy conditions. Cooler on Friday and mostly cloudy with the slight chance for a shower or two, seasonal. A rain snow mix will move in over the weekend with highs in the upper 30s & low 40s.
