Victim's family joins Crime Stoppers to offer $10,000 reward in southeast Columbus homicide

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Division of Police needs help to solve a homicide that happened earlier this month in southeast Columbus.

On September 4, 2018, just after 11:30 p.m. police officers responded near the 2300 block of S. Hamilton Road on a report of a body lying in the parking lot of the businesses.

When officers arrived they found Abraham Cundiff unresponsive suffering from a gunshot wound, according to investigators. Cundiff was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no known motive or suspects at this time. Authorities say in speaking with several business owners and employees in the area it has been determined that Cundiff was well liked and did not bother anyone.

The family of Abraham Cundiff is partnering with Crime Stoppers and offering a cash reward of $10,000 for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
